Heel Pain
The most common cause of heel pain is plantar fasciitis. This condition occurs due to inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes and supports the arch of the foot. Plantar fasciitis often results from repetitive stress or overuse, leading to micro-tears and irritation in the fascia. Factors such as excessive walking or running, wearing unsupportive footwear, having flat feet or high arches, and sudden weight gain can increase the risk of developing plantar fasciitis. The pain is typically felt in the heel and is most intense during the first steps in the morning or after prolonged periods of rest.
At our state-of-the-art facility, we employ a comprehensive approach using advanced techniques to effectively treat heel pain.
